Marie and her client’s goal was to create a winery that was in harmony with the geographic area of Croatia. Originally they planned to configure the winery within an existing structure but that was not possible. A new structure was necessary to facilitate the wine making process from start to finish; from crushing grapes to guests sampling the end product in appropriately elegant surroundings. Marie’s involvement was from concept to completion. This included interviewing architects, builders and project managers in order to accomplish her client’s vision of an established winery.
