Lake Minnetonka ASID Showcase House
Christine Sutphen and team were challenged to transform the 21’ 9” x 36' lakeshore living room of a charming, rustic, 90 year old Tudor revival home to appear as though it had been plucked from the English Cotswold Hills. The homeowners’ dream was to restore the quaint, Cotswold charm to this gracious room using an “Autumn” color palette of cinnamon, honey, mocha, and tea. The space functionally needed to accommodate elegant entertaining, small intimate gatherings, and family functions. Christine and team needed to recreate a historic and architecturally authentic, English-style interior to reflect its cottage exterior.
