| Q. |
Does Gabberts make house calls?
|
A. |
Our home furnishings consultants and designers can and do make house calls. In fact, they are extremely valuable. Visiting your home and seeing your space first-hand allows them to better understand your needs, lifestyle and design goals. These visits can be arranged through your Gabberts home furnishing consultant or a chosen designer. For more information about our design services, explore the Design Studio section of our website.

| Q. |
I’ve never worked with a designer. How do I know which one is best for me?
|
A. |
Every Gabberts designer is deeply talented and incredibly versatile. Visit Find a Designer for background details, mini-portfolios and other information to help select the Gabberts professional that’s right for you. Or, contact our Design Studio for assistance. Finally, you can always stop into our store to let our "Designer on Duty" explain how we work and assess your needs, or attend one of our helpful Seminars and Events to meet some of our designers in person.

| Q. |
Does Gabberts have a printed catalog?
|
A. |
We’ve chosen not to offer a traditional catalog, for this reason: between the vast selection of furniture that we offer and the multitude of ways you can customize and accent it (fabrics, pillows, etc.), it’s simply too much to fit into a printed format. In addition, our inventory changes regularly because we are constantly updating our offerings to reflect the very latest styles. However, you can view a limited selection of some of our most popular items by visiting our Online Catalog.

| Q. |
Why can’t I order from your Web site?
|
A. |
We have found that there’s a direct relationship between the time customers spend "experiencing" the furniture first-hand and the level of satisfaction with their purchase decisions. Many customers have their own "checklists" to go through - viewing the furniture under realistic lighting, verifying dimensions, sitting on it, touching it, etc. - before buying and want that reassurance that an online purchase just doesn't provide. And, of course, our helpful home furnishings consultants always make the experience more pleasurable too!

| Q. |
You once had a lighting studio and accessory rooms where I could purchase items such as lamps, pillows and bedding. Are they still around?
|
A. |
We decided it would be more beneficial to display these products in the lifestyles for which they are most suited. For example, if you are looking for a lamp to match your new Stickley desk, you’d be directed to our Arts & Crafts area. We still have our large assortment of lighting products spread throughout the store, but now they are conveniently displayed with the furniture and accessories (including pillows and bedding) that best accompany them. And remember, if you cannot find what you are looking for in-store, our Design Studio will be happy to provide a resource to satisfy your needs.

| Q. |
Where can I bring my old furniture now that I’ve replaced it?
|
A. |
Gabberts partners with Bridging, a non-profit organization that extends community resources to those in transition by distributing free beds, furniture and household goods. Your gently used furniture can go toward helping someone establish a new home! For information, call Bridging at 952-888-1105 or visit www.bridging.com.

| Q. |
I understand that Gabberts has a "risk free" protection plan. What does that mean?
|
A. |
At the end of your five year warranty period, if you have not claimed against the warranty, Gabberts will credit you the full purchase price of your warranty program in the form of a store gift certificate. It's that simple.
